Urban governance plays a significant role in the “governance of China.” China’s urbanization requires an urban governance pattern that suits the country’s needs. Civilized Urban Governance aims at carrying out a systematic study on the emergence, evolution, essence, structure and institution of the civilized governance pattern of cities with Chinese characteristics. Based on the study, it tries to sum up the Chinese experience on urban governance.
