The author records the thoughts and life stories of 34 common females through profound interviews. The age span of these Chinese women workers ranges from the post-50s to the post-90s, and their stories reflect the history of two dimensions: changes of the times and the personal life courses. Currently, China is undergoing great changes which affect and mold every person. The growth experiences and life courses of these female workers also witness the transformation of Chinese Society from an unknown angle.
