Rainbow Clothes is a novel, and can be regarded as a development history and struggle of the light textile industry in Jiangsu and Zhejiang in the past 40 years since the reform and opening up. The book describes the struggle of a group of young entrepreneurs from Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, represented by Si Lai, who are determined to get rid of poverty and to change the destiny. They started a textile factory from scratch and finally went abroad to participate in international competitions.
