The author of this book, Mr. Li Song, is one of the leading figures in the contemporary calligraphy circle, who has prominent understanding of the regular script. Regular script is a sort of typeface. Chinese calligraphy features five typefaces - seal script, clerical script, regular script, cursive script and running script, among which the regular marks the most regular and standardized one.
