Jin Hui, violinist, conductor and educator, now holds the following posts: professor of Orchestral Instruments Department, director of String Music Teaching and Research Office and supervisor of graduate students in China Conservatory of Music (CCOM), as well as standing conductor of Kunming Nie Er Symphony Orchestra.
Jin Hui is one of the outstanding violinists in international music circles who has performed all over the world. As a soloist, he was invited by many organizations for performance, including Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra in Korea, Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra in Finland, Orchestre symphonique de Québec in Canada, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra in Australia, Brazilian Symphony Orchestra in Brazil, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, China Broadcast Symphony Orchestra (known as the China Broadcast and Film Symphony Orchestra at present), China Film Symphony Orchestra, China National Symphony Orchestra, Shaanxi Philharmonic Orchestra and China Youth Symphony Orchestra. In 2010, Jin Hui participated in Austria Salzburg Festival with China Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, where he cooperated with the famous Erhu performer Song Fei to perform The Butterfly Lovers, which was then recorded on DVD. In 2010 and 2011, Jin Hui was invited by China’s Ministry of Culture (Ministry of Culture and Tourism today) to perform in the Spring Festival Gala. In 2012, People’s Music Electronic & Audiovisual Publishing House published his personal albums Love Song and Ma Sicong’s Works Album. People's Daily evaluated his performance as “a violinist performing by heart”.
