Chen Wei, Ph.D. of history of science and technology, research assistant of the Institute for the History of Natural Sciences of Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on the technical history of the ancient Silk Road and the social history of mathematics in ancient China. He has published more than 10 papers in relevant fields and a monograph The Ancient Silk Road and the Dissemination of Technical Knowledge.
