Yan Dong (1964–?) is a Manchu people, member of the Communist Party of China, and senior editor. He currently serves as the deputy director of the Program Department of CCTV-10 science and education channel. He is the director over 30 documentaries, including Confucius, Immortal Marx, The Long March, The Oriental Battlefield, The Memory of Nanjing in 1937, Deng Xiaoping, The National Pulse (including a 3D version), Banner, Two Decades of Reform and Opening Up, The Great Journey, Yan’an Luxun College of Art, The Three Gorges, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, The Memory of China, and Dwellings in China.
